I'm having way too much trouble trying to get that little dogbone, the bar/pin that goes through the bushing at the top of the rear shocks where it mounts to the frame. I've tried lubing it up with some soapy water, I cannot get the dern thing to go through.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can give some hints, I would really appreciate it.

Use PBlaster instead of soapy water...that's not going to help at all. Next you should disconnect the bottom mount. If it doesn't slide out after that then i'd use a punch and a hammer and tap it out, it's in a weird place but I think it could be done.

I will try the pb blaster. I'm trying to put a new pin IN, not take it OUT. I'm putting new shocks on, and they did not have the pin installed out of the box, I'm guessing that they never do when they are new.

Thanks for the suggestion.

i used grease and a rubber mallet

I was working last night at 2:30 in the morning when I tried to do this. I tried it with pb blaster today and it went in fine. Maybe it was cause I was really tired and my brain wasn't working right.

Thanks for the suggestions.
