How do I install a 98 ranger tranny in a 93 ranger

I want to install a 4r55e transmission in place of an a4ld transmission. What changes do I need to make to my 1993 ranger so the electric control transmission will work? Help

Not much better of a transmission in my opinion , basically a a4ld that electronic controlled . .not worth the trouble honestly , you would need the ecm and all wiring to control it..

Alternative to factory wiring and ecm swap would be to use an aftermarket transmission controller. Powertrain control solutions makes a unit that will work with the 4r55e or 5r55e/w.
