How do I mount to the roof liner?

yea, they link it with html though. They don't actually upload the pic. As far as I know anyway. I'm not the brightest star in the sky though.

I have a few pics of kandtholman's unit, very nice indeed. How can I resize them? I don't have anything on my computer to do it that I know of. Any small downloads out there?

I will take that as a joke and not you trying to start a gay internet fight.

red69camaro,
are thie images .jpg ? If so, you can open Microsoft Paint... Standard issue for any PC... Open the file there... click on "Image" select "Stretch/skew" and tell it to reduce it to like 50%.
Thats the easy way. Well maybe not "easy" but its cheap and works.

Thanks for posting my pics Red96camaro. They are not Kandtholman's pics.

damn, sometimes you should just stop drinking :-) , sorry, anyway, still interested, how'd you make it?

Cool looking truck, Ive never seen an explorer with a center console shifter. How hard is it for you to see the display on the radio? I would think with it right by your head like that it would be hard to change channels and adjust other things while on the road.

I didn't make the thing, it was made for me by a communications shop. They sell the radios and modify them for the remote microphone cabling.
It's not too bad having it next to my head. I usually just leave it on channel 8 (call channel). What's not pictured in the photos is my UHF radio which was put in after the photos were taken. It sits in the hump section and faces towards the rear. I would use this more than the 27Mhz CB.

hey adam, is that the deep profile console? I was looking at getting one like that from department of the interior to put my uhf in, and with the storage compartment with the elastic netting, seeing that there arent really alot of places for storage in the X .
Check out this site for roof consoles for X's and other vehicles http://www.consoles.com/Ford_Explorer_low_roof.htm

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by deep profile. This is the only one that the place I bought it from sells.

Yeah sorry about the confusion Adam, it just looks like one on the link i posted .
Do u find it cuts down on your headroom or visibility at all , or just make the cabin feel heap smaller??
