How do I remove filler tube from A4LD?

I'm in the process of removing my tranny. I've got it all unbolted but I can't seem to get the dip stick filler tube disconnected. Any ideas how to do this?

Don't they just press fit them into the tranny hole, in which case it just pulls out about 1/2 to 3/4 inch?

I found a bolt holding it in place way up there where the O2 sensors plug in.
