How do I remove rear disc brake rotors?

I need to replace my rear rotors on my Explorer, my 1995 Explorer has never had the rotors changed or turned. But now they need it bad....but Im unable to get them off back. Does anyone have any helpful tips on this job. Thanks in advance. :banghead:

What he said. A big ass crowbar might help too, if ya got one.
 






Yeah....the crow bar is good. Try not to bend that backing plate too much. I used a torch to heat mine up a bit...I'm not sure if it helped but the thing came off eventually.
 






And make sure your E-brake is off.
 






Ok thanks guys...........I bet you can guess whats on my honey-do chore list this coming Saturday...........a lot of pounding in the garage but not in the bedroom......lol!!

BFH, I used a rubber mallet so I wouldn't screw up the rotors to bad because I was going to reuse them (hub replacement)
 






Back off the park brake by taking the elongated rubber plug out of the back plate and using a thin flat driver to turn the ribbed nut untill you can feel play in the rotor, then wiggle the rotor towrd you, it should come free with a little luck.
