im addding a kmm intake, this afternoon, and how do i reset my computer?

Pull the battery cable for 25-30 minutes - do it while you're installing your intake...

It does not matter. Negative is usually easier, and if you don't want to wait 20 minutes just hit the brakes a few times to make sure there is no power in the system.

Negative always first, that way you don't draw an arc which can lead to bad stuff.
