How do you install a transmission?

Im planning on swamping my A4LD (Like many of you know) but i found some questions that need adressing before i try changing the trannys myself (Im a crazy man)

Ok i changed what was written here. My question is how do you install a transmission. I think i can handle taking it out but what i need to know is how do you put it in. Any special things i need to know about?

if you plan on SWAMPING your tranny then just go through deep water, but if you want to SWAP the tranny then you need to talk to the experts on that one.

Holy moley. Let me see, you have never pulled or installed an automatic transmission before and you dont have anyone around who has?
Do you have the tools you will need?

First place to start is with the repair manual, read the transmission section a few times, go slow.

It is not rocket science that is for sure, but there are many tricks and proceedures you will need to understand before you can simply rip one out and bolt in a new one.

We can cover them all here, but thats ALOT of typing
