My winshielf fluid nozzles are not working and i wanted to remove them and replace them, but i need to get the wiper cowel off. how do i take off the wiper cowel?
You must be very careful as the washer hoses are directly attached to the nozzles that are mounted in the cowl. If you pull up to hard when removing you will snap the plastic nipple that the hose connects to, then you will have to buy a new one.
Also you must be very careful when removing the cowl, the spring clips are tightly mounted and will break if you force them. I broke at least two on mine when I pulled up to hard.
I dont see it mentioned so I will say it, you must first remove the wiper blades. Removing the nozzels is a biatch and must be done very carefully. They are mounted with a metal ring into the plastic cowl. I did not have the patience to get them out and ended up snapping the mount in the cowl. I had to use Gorilla glue to remount them but it did not work very good, the mounting position is critical.
