Welcome to the forum! Im sure if you try using the search button you should be able to pull up something on how to install the new assembly.

The above thread describes how to get to the bulb in my 06 explorer...I'm not sure if your console setup is similar or the same.

When you get to the bulb, you just twist the bulb housing counter clockwise to release it, pull the bulb straight out of the housing...it may take some strength/wiggling...but it pulls straight out. The replacement bulb is #74 from NAPA...it cost around $1.50.

I just did this a few days ago...real easy.

excuse me you fixed the problem because i have the same problem

The post directly above yours describes how to do it. This thread is a year old, and that is the only post the OP ever made on this board. I doubt you will get an answer.

Thanks for this useful information
