How does windshield moulding attach?

I've got a 2016 Explorer Sport and the driverside windshield moulding is coming loose at the toop where it meets the hood.

I think it is

I cant tell how the outer trim attached to the lower piece. is it clipped in or glued, or adhesive tape?

The trim piece i have appears to be in decent condition, its just coming loose at the upper corner. before i spend a lot having someone else re-fasten it or replace it, i's liek toknow what i'm dealign with.

The 'A' pillar is held on with clips. It is likely that you have some broken ones.

Can this piece be replaced separately?
