You could calculate a pretty good estimate by figuring in the gear ratio, rpm, and tire size. Plenty of web sites have little calculators for these kinds of equations.
I think its between 20-35 MPH. I've had our '02 stuck and spinning in reverse it wouldn't go over a certain speed. At the time I wasn't concentrating on that so I can't really remember. And it can do faster than that in first gear
The speedometer is electronic, and is fed by a speed sensor insead of a speedo cable. Since the signal is electronic, the only way the odometer would turn backwards in reverse would be if it was specifically designed to do so.
If you try it, you'll find that the odometer will either do nothing or continue to roll forward.
