I bought my truck with 116,000 on it. Lucky for me, the lady I bought it from replaced the transmission about 2000 miles before I got it. So, much thanks to 410 fortune for the preventative maintenance tip...
I'm pleased to hear that these 4.0 OHV engines are as bulletproof as everyone says. I currently have 124,000 on it, have no problems. It doesn't leak a thing--which makes me smile since my last Ford leaked every fluid it had. I hope to have this thing last me to 200 and beyond.
