How many miles have you put on your ford in one year.

I was at auto store picking up oil and oil filter for an oil change and I was talking to my friend that worked there and i told him that I had put 58,000 miles on my explorer in one year which i thought was a lot. A man standing next to me overheard and said that he had bought a 2003 ford taurus in june of 2003 and at the end of august 2004 he had put 135,000 miles on it. I found that hard to believe but sure enough he took me outside to his car and showed me the odometer and sure enough a little over 135,000 miles. He said he was a salesman and had to travel by car alot. So how many miles have you put on in one year?

I drive about 25,000 a year. More than average though. I believe i read somewhere a while back that 12,000 miles a year is average...

Commuting to work and a couple of 1000 mile round trips will do that to ya!

I gotta say maybe around 20,000 miles or so alone last year... my parents gave me my Explorer when it had 90,000 miles a few years ago, I am now currently at 144,000 miles :-\

I believe the Explorer has had close to 50K put on it in a year. On May 25th, 2003 I had 95,000 miles. As of today, it has 146,020 miles.

4/1993 - 10/2002 - put on 60k - avg 6315 miles per year

Went on the road to start-up my own company:

11/2002 - 4/2003 - put on 48k - avg 8000 miles per month

My old 300M I did 75K in a year an a half. 3500 Mile round trips to NYC. 20 of them!
Put about 17K in my old X in 1 year.
Current X only had for 4 months & that's at 3K miles
Leased my Acura so I'm stuck at 15K/year
