Has anyone had to buy new Extended Radius Arms from Superlift? How much were they? I've been waiting for a replacement set for too long and I think I just need to call them and buy a new set and deal with them later.

I had a temporary weld put on a few months back and it broke last night.

I just need to know if its like 200 an arm or 80. I have no idea, but I read a post from 2000 where someone paid like 38 ea from superlift and that sounded way too cheap.

Wow I can't believe no one has had to buy a new set of Superlift Extd Radius Arms? I'm Shocked!!!

Not sure how they are going to feel about the welding done to fix them, even though it was a temp fix.

Well I ended up buying new arms at a discount. $80 bucks each plus 2 day air total cost was $277.

What sucks was last night I was looking under my Explorer and noticed that my axle drop bracket got cracked right where it bends and bolts to the frame. So I will be buying a new drop bracket another $75

discount

Where did you pick up a discount?

I had a set of arms sent to them for warranty that never arrived and so they gave me this price which is refundable if and when the arms arrive.

one question

Alaskan Jack did you have to use limiting straps on your front end ? I started off with the trailmaster 4 inch lift now going to the superlift 5.5 witha spacer under the front coil. The front sway bar was usless so I junked it and used a strap now it is somewhat better, but is no way any good on the road

Funny you should ask I was just checking on Limiting strap prices from Superlift around $75. I have a beefed up swaybar with Superlift drop brackets, but just recently disconnected it. Body roll isn't that bad but for street driving nothing beats that huge swaybar up front.

I was going to try dual shocks up front first but had a problem with stock shock mount location when I put on the new radius arm. So now I am running only one shock up front but mounted in my dual shock location and nothing in the stock shock location. Gotta figure that little problem out.

limiting straps

75 bucks I'm not so high tech two pieces of 5/16 chain work for me

Well I'm sure it will. I need to check with my local 4x4 shop and see what they suggest. No chains here! Just to hokie for me. But I will post here today what they tell me and how much.
