How Much for Tint?

I need to get some tint on my X. How much would a shop charge to put in 35% tint on all but front windows and windshield?

A friend of mine just paid $250 not too long ago for his. The shop did a really good job.

Paid $180.00 for mine here in Hawaii, was done by a very reputable shop....turned out very nice.

Wow some of you guys got expensive jobs.
I have not done my X yet , but my ol' 84 S-10 Balzer was $160.00 for 5% on the three rear and 35% on the two front. Perfect Touch in Glen Burnie Maryland.
Amazing job , zero streeks and zero bubles. I could not find a single one.
Guarnteed for life against pealing , fading and bubbeling.
A few more weeks I'll be getting my X done.

Tint

Different parts of the country will charge different prices. Will not be the same everywhere. Hawaii is expensive!! No matter what you buy here it will cost bucks, i.e., 1 Gal milk = $5.00, 1 Gal gas = $1.62, Average price of house= $300,000.00. No complaints here with the price I paid for my tint ($180.00).

You have to remember that Explorers have 9 tintable windows, not 7. The little windows on the rear doors are counted as additional windows. Mine was $270 for a 70% on the two front windows, 5% on the rear side windows, and 15% on the rear window.

How much do you guys think a Half Silver(Mirror) faded into Black Limo back 7 (since the little window counts), 35% Driver & Passanger

All windows Half Silver(Mirror) faded into Black would it be original price of tint or more because of the Mirror look?

any color tints or siver mirror tints cost a bit more.. in my area... long island and queens ny, they will run between 180 and 250 for the special tints.. about 150-200 for plain black..i was consider mirror tints.. but with the factory tints, it wouldnt come out right, unless u have the xls without tints, good luck

Thanks for the responses guys, now I know how much damage will be done to the wallet! I just want 35% on 7 windows and mybe 50% on the 2 fronts (thats the law in VA). We'll see how much it will run me. Thanks again.
