My 4 18's and like 8,000 watts rms and everything else involved, 6 mids & 2 super tweeters, mids amp, wire, wood, black vinyl, sound deadener, 7 batteries, high output alternator is over 5G.

Over $10k if you include all the wiring and Dynamat. And I did ALL of the labor myself, or you could easily add another $2-3k. It's definitely my main hobby. I've probably got $3k in the F250 and I put over $2k in the old lady's ride.

I've had The Phoenix Gold amp since 2001. It cost $650.The JL Audio 500/1 came in the truck. I paid &160 for my mid bass. I had the tweeters forgot how much they cost. My sub was $225. Plus $375 for my Alpine 9887.

My system has folks wanting me to build one for them. Its loud for a 1 sub system & its very clean & accurate. I did all the install & built my ported box. I'm very happy with my little system. It sounds better than systems I owned that cost almost twice as much.

13 years ago when my system was state of the art im guessing it went for about 800. my kenwood must be worth about 150-200 USD, an MTX crossover of say 150 and the sub MSRP back in 98 was 500 USD. everything still works and it came included with my car when i bougth it. I have no idea how good the AMP is. it makes good sound but the company is unheard of. "LA sound" only seen one other for sale on EBAY
