I'd guess about $2500 on the Sport. And now I'm moving what I can over to the EB. I've spent $250 so far on the EB, for RB spacers. Definately more to come.

On my Sport Trac, about $500 so far.
Now my Trans Am... about $8000 in the 5 years I had it. That's one reason it had to go...

LOL ALOT

15 years no car payment though

Not nearly as much as I am ABOUT to spend :) on tools and coilovers

Spending on tools with a lifetime guarantee is a good investment. You could always get a new tool if it breaks, but if you dump a ton of money into a vehicle, you won't get much back unless you strip it, and sell it for parts.

You don't mod a car to make money on it, and most of the time it lowers the value of the car. I've probably spent WAY to much money on my mountaineer in the year and a half that I've had it, and I'll never see most of that money again. But I don't care, I've had fun doing it, and it suits me and my driving style a whole lot better now. It's my baby and they'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands.

Too much.
Over 4K easy. My mods actually add function though :p:

Well said

Of the 9 years of owning the 97 X I've only spent $2 for a Saz-All blade to cut open the rear inside door panel to get at the locking mechanism when it would not open:eek: To this day that hole is still there. Did not even bother to put the plastic panel back on. If it ever happens again, I'll be ready :D

Oh yea, $.50 cents for a hood support bar at my local salvage yard. No more falling hood due to badly designed hood struts.

But on the other hand, we won't go into the thousands and thousands spent of modifying the Bronco 2 :D

May have something in store for the X later ;)

i'm the 3rd owner, of my first explorer, and have had it for 13 months. I paid $3000 and have put approx $2500 into it this year, most in backed maintenance but some extras listed in my sig.
I've talked myself out of subs and a lift on several occasions.

Lets see, mods:

HU : $160
Speakers: $100

Mod Total: $260 :(

Repairs:

Hitting a tree: $900
Intake Gaskets: $150
Fuel Injectors: $200
Alternator: $150
Battery: $150
Brake Work: $200
Transmission Work: $300
Other crap I'm forgetting: Probably about $2k

Grand Total: ~$4000 :(

If I didn't beat the crap out of a 15 year old truck with so many miles I might have some money for mods still.
