Hi, I am debating between getting a 4" or 6" lift for 35" tires. I already have a 3" body lift. I want to know how much more of a chance is there of rolling on a tilt? The center of gravity would be higher, but I don't how much that would affect my X.

Thanks!!

I think with a body lift already 4" would be sufficient to clear 35s but I'm not positive. I would therefore go with 4" because it would be less likely to roll over. 9" of lift starts to get too high for my liking. I'm looking at 4" of lift with fiberglass and 35s someday.

If you're worried about rolling, just do the fiber fenders, they'll run you around $300.

Who sells glass fenders?

You can get Fiberglass fenders from Perrys fiberglass or from Camburg.

Perrys will run you $300 or $600 for the 98' clip.
Camburgs will run you about $140 or $900 for a complete 98' front clip.

general rule of thumb... the taller you go the wider you should go. with that much lift, if you dont have them already, try to run a 10" wide wheel instead of an 8" the extra offset will widen your track.

I run a 15x8 with 35x12.50's and a 3.75" backspace, nothing sticks out too terribly far, it wheels really well, it goes 90 mph down the HWY when I have asked it, and I have had this truck do a 180 on an ice covered HWY at 40 mph and it stayed on all 4 wheels even sliding sideways for a long time. I really don't think that last 2" will matter much, it could all be compensated with a set of stiffer shocks and DRIVER DRIVER DRIVER. I knock on wood about my driving but it works and I know for sure I would rub up front if I took out my coil spacers cause I rub already on RA's and rear of fenders needed to meet the :hammer: bigtime.
