Yup, shes going to be sold. I'm on a mission to get myself out of debt, so I purchased a lil import to get me through the winter.

Trust me I love my Explorer. But this is a move I have to make, and who knows, maybe a few years down the road I'll have another.

Body wise she is in awesome shape, with the normal scratches here n there.

175k kilometers on the odometer
My overdrive is gone, but a couple of tranny guys that took it out and looked at it said its no worse for wear and will work fine except now its like I'm always driving in D and not OD :)

All options except for sunroof. Everything works except for the mirrors :) Also has remote start

I'm in the process of replacing the radius arm bushings. She has all new brakes, tranny flush, good tires, new tranny mount and clutch flexplate (i think thats what it was, i can't remember the name exactly) Brand new A/C, coverted to the new refridgerant.

Steel Horse Safari Roof Rack

I was thinkin 7800 bucks Canadian or nearest offer. That sound reasonable? Higher or lower?

Not to hurt your feelings, but a stock 93 with a bad tranny, about 1500to 2000 bucks, american.

ack!!! really?

i figured the tranny would be an issue. it still runs fine and changes gears, just doesn't hit 4th. :(

Yeah, to anybody buying it the tranny will be a big issue, and considering the cost to repair. That will put a big dent in your asking price.

yeah, ford quoted about 2500 canadian for a new tranny install. maybe i'll just stick her up for 7500 and take first reasonable offer.

i wouldn't be selling it and not telling the person the problem, i wouldnt be able to live with myself after.

It would be hard to hide a missing gear anyway lol, and you never know, you may find a buyer that has a tranny, that is looking for a good explorer to put it in.
