The weather has been keeping the roads good enough for the last 2 weeks that I'll soon be selling my Explorer.

here's her stats:

93 Explorer Eddie Bauer
163,000 KILOMETERS
Dual front power seats, leather
All power options
Clarion CD Deck (stock JL Audio speakers/sub)
Remote Starter
Wynn's Warranty (full coverage) till end of summer

Pics are on my web site, she is in very very good condition. A Real Estate company owned her since she came out of the showroom and she appears to been treated really good. (I don't anyone ever sat in the back, the doors are a tiny bit stiff on the hinges, and I don't think the hitch was ever used either) She stayed in a big city and probably never seen anything beyond till I got her.

Tires still got tons of tread on them and theres nothing wrong with the vehicle other than the interior handle on the driver side is cracked. Its still there but if you really yank on the door to close it it will come off. (nuthin crazy glue can't fix :) )

Let me know what you think guys, I was thinkin about 10,500 er so.

Thanks fellas!

yeah 10,000 canadian would be about right for a starting price. but don't expect to get more than 7,500 to 8,500 canadian. I did the exchange rate as about .65, have no idea what it really is now.

If you want to try to get a good idea, you can check the Kelly Blue Book and that'll help, then just add on more as you think is appropriate for the aftermarket stuff.

At first when I read that, I was thinking $10,500 is way too much to ask for, but after realizing it was CDN$10,500, it makes a little more sense

I think somewhere between $5 and $7 thousand U.S. is about right. I paid $5k for my 91XLT and it was in better shape than what yours sounds like. It did have lift kit though and 157000 miles.

spiper: not trying to flame, but how the heck does yours sound like it was in better condition than mine other than a lift kit? lift would give the impression than a person did go off roading in the vehicle and could have to the extreme.

mine is spotless with every option other than a sunroof and it has WAY less mileage than yours.

anyways, thanks for the replies guys! :)

Sorry I did realize your odometer was in KM I dont have a hitch yours does so I assume it had to have been used. My doors are like new. I contacted the previous owner and the lift was purely cosmetic and he never left the pavement.

Very Nice

Lbrowne,
Nice Clean Truck!! :D
I paid 6500 for my 91 XLT in Noveber 2000 with 60,000 miles (96.5k km).

I WISH I would have found an X in such great shape. You won't have any probs selling it. Although I'm basing everything on New Jersey's market.

:chug:

Thanks for all the help guys!

I've decided that starting this weekend I'll be asking 9900 for her. I want her to sell fast and I've accepted the fact that evn tho shes in awesome shape, shes still about 10 years old.
