how much to lift my explorer.

[Hello everyone, im no mechanic or have any tools to lift my explorer. So my question is about how much will it cost me to have my truck lifted including suspension, wheels tires everything that it needs. Oh i would like to lift it about 3inches high. Thanks.

Probably 500-1000 for tires, 300-1000 for wheels, depending what you get and assuming they're new. Oh and count on mounting and balancing costing a bit too.

Lift cost will depend on what kind you do. Anywhere from about 200 to 800. If you aren't installing yourself, then expect to pay the normal labor rate of the shop that's doing it. 70-90 bucks an hour. Lots of this stuff takes a while, so easily 5-10 hours at that rate, depending on what is being done.

Bottom line, anywhere from about 1200 on up, again assuming all new parts.

Find another member of the forum in your area with experience in these things. They could help you with installation to save money there.
