I've got some info on a dead early bronco (no engine) but rest of it is intact, including front axle. Seller is intersted in ridding himself of all of it, but how do I get it from Utah to Illinois? What about just the dana44 - Has anyone shipped one and if so how and how much?
Thanks for any help you can give me!

Just call automotive shipping companies, some will ship cars that don't run... They just charge a bit more usually... I'd have to guess somewhere in the neighborhood of at least $500

Not sure if this will help, but.........................my new X from Wichita, KS to Richmond, VA (with truck running).........$750.

My advice: Be VERY careful when dealing with auto transporters! 90% of the companies you see advertised are simply "brokers" who post your contract out on the market. Then the actual shippers get the contract off of this "network" (I have no idea what kind of network it is). Just remember that the brokers are salespeople and will tell you anything to get your money out of you!!! I was told that my X would be at my house in 7-10 days. It should be here Sat., which will be exactly 1 month from when I placed my order.

OK, so my ranting won't help you much..........I just wanted to vent just a little.:D I could go on for pages about those a$$holes!

Oh, and there are a bunch of sites that give instant quotes on shipping or will email you a quote within 24 hours. Run a Google search for them.

Believe it or not, you can ask some FREIGHT trucking companies to haul it for you. It would have to go to the depot to be loaded on a semi trailer, but it can be done.

I have used DAS autoshippers twice for cars that I have bought on e-Bay.

Houston to NJ cost $700.

They were very professional.
You can track the progress of your car on the Internet just like a FedEx or UPS package.
