how to change torsion bolt

how hard is it to remove and replace with a longer one? my drivers side is maxed out and i got some new ones from fastenal. is there any tention once the truck is off the ground? thanks!

Quite a bit. Jack up the front, and just replace the bolt. It'll be a bear to tighten though.
