How do I change the transfer case fluid on a 95 EB 4X4 automatic 4.0 OHV?

I’m useless without my Helms manuals.

Thanks,

Cameron

Well, had mine changed, didn't do it myself. There should be a plug on the top of the transfer case. The place I had do this said they had to siphon (hope I'm spelling this correctly) the fluid out, and then just add automatic trans fluid. Didn't take them long. But don't rely completely on what I've said, its to just give you an idea.

You have a drian plug and a fill plug you may need to remove a vibration dampener if it does you will have 4 13mm bolts to get to the drain plug and just fill with Mercon atf its EZ

yeah the drain, fill plugs are 3/8 socket wrench it just kinda plugs in

Be sure to remove the fill plug first! if you drain all the oil out and then find your fill plug is frozen in the hole, you'll be without a truck. at least if you try removing the fill plug ahead of time, then you'll know for sure you'll have a way to refill it. justa hint!
