How to clear computer engine codes?

I've read through the Threads but couldn't find the one where someone stated how to clear the engine codes. I know I have to disconnect the battery, but for how long? Thanks for your replies guys and girls.:D

15 minutes is good then you should let it idle for 5 mins. then go drive it they way you normally drive.
 






30 minutes worked the best for me, why? Who knows.
 






well the longer is probably better i guess. but ya know how impatient were are to drive after a mod!!! ;)

I want to have a good running engine. When I have changed a sensor gone bad, like anyone else, I'd like my EEC computer to be reading all good.
