can someone tell me how to take the a/c vents out of the dash? i tried pulling them out yestrerday but i didnt wanna break them.

for the center vents...just take off your center finishing panel...disconnect the radio and switches...then you can unscrew the vents off from the back

driver's side vents...take off the gauge trim dash...first you got to take off the the center panel off (radio)...then the lower panel underneathe the steering column...then take off the trim that surrounds the gauges...then you take off the vent from the back of it...

passenger's side vents??? i dont know, i never unbolted anything on that side...

They should have little tabs on them that pop out to the sides when they are pushed into the dash. You have to get a something to reach inside the vent and hold the tabs out to whille you pull the vent out. The middle passenger side one is visible if you remove/open the glove box.

easier way, just push the bottom in as far as you can and then just stick your finger in the top and pull it out. There is no need to remove anything in order to get the vents out. Nothing will break have done it in many a car. When you stick it back on you just push it back on and everything will go back into place. Its a very very very simple device.
