i'm as much of a car guy as most of you but i like my chick a little more then my cars. that doesn't mean i'd give them up for a girl but i like spending time with her a little more

I would have to agree. I ended up losing a lot of wrenching time and modification money, but really... I don't mind. The only thing I don't like is when she spends a bunch of money on something she wants, then does not like it shortly thereafter.

True....they can give you somethings that your car/truck can't sometimes when were out off roadin carryin on she's like is it better than sex and I simply reply "almost" haha. But I do treat her good. when she was drivin the malibu if something needed done to it even tho I dnt care for chevy's and dont know much bout it, I fixed the problem or did the routine maintenance to it.

Reminds me of her first car ever...92' Plymouth Sundance. That car was evil but I worked hard on it. It seemed like everything I already knew how to do, was about 20x's harder to do on that car. I actually upgraded it though-of course I installed a nice radio/cd player and speakers, but then I put in an alarm with two-way pager, remote start, and I even installed motors in her doors to give her power door locks. Fortunately, the car kicked the bucket a few years ago. And yes, girls are more fun than trucks, even though they tend to complain just a little bit more.

Oh yeah, I did wash and detail it for her every two weeks or so too.

My wife gets a little jealous of the time i spend. To her credit, I do spend a lot of time on my stuff between drag racing and showing the Stang to keeping her car clean (women are dirty creatures when it comes to the floorboard of their car, LOL) to building up the Mounty before and the X now, on top of keeping the grass cut and the house from falling in on itself.

However she just eats it up when someone makes a comment to her about her car.

Imagine her leaving on vacation... me then installing the rear exit bumper exhaust and my fender grills.... then trying to convince her that they were already there before she left... lol As you can see.... I sneak things in at this point

My girlfriend loves my explorer. We go mudding and she loves when I modify it. She washes it for me after we go muddin!! She even tries to understand how things work.
