Well first off, do they even make them?
How would I install on in a guage pod?
What wires, to run where?

autometer makes 5 different styles of 2 1/16" electrical tranny temp gauges, www.autometer.com

Installation of the actual gauge would be just like any other: 2 (maybe 1) wire to the sender, 12V power and ground for the gauge, and 12V power and ground for the lamp. The sender will need to be mounted in a tranny fluid line and will have 2 wires coming from it.

Yes, Dekota Digital ( http://dakotadigital.com/ ) makes great digital tranny temp gauges. The simply slip into a pod. See Dead Link Removed

Do a search

You can put the sender into the trans pressure test port - search posts by Byrd91 I think hes the one who pointed it out. You will need a spacer so it will fit, but do a search and it should turn up.
Good Luck.

I mounted my 2 1/16" Autometer gauge under the dash in a gage cup- a very simple install. Easy to see and out of the way.

I wire from the sender to gauge, one from power for the gauge, and then a ground and a dimmer circuit lead for the light. - also very simple.
