Hello,

I searched and did not have any luck finding what I am looking for.

I was looking for a DIY guide how to install camber adjusters.

I am going to lower my explorer within a month and I will order Ingalls Part #86140(front) and #86180(rear)

This will provide me 2 degrees of camber which is supposed to put the vehicle back into spec after alignment in the rear, and 3 to 4 degrees in the front. Those are not the cheap shims that dont do **** to your cambers (most of the people I know are running with shims).

Anyone can explain me how to install those parts? how hard is it? I am going to swap the springs myself, but I want to do the cambers as well because the shop is going to charge me 160 to install the cambers. I am positive that my brother and I can do the job if we could get some further explanation.

Any input would be appreciated, thank you!

Just found this few minutes ago.

Not sure if quality is the same with Ingalls brand camber kit.

But here is a lot cheaper kit (exactly same design): #86140(79.95 for a pair) and #86180(54.39 for a pair) which means the total is going to be only 135 bucks before shipping.

From Ingalls, it is $156.80 for front cambers and $78.32 for the rear cambers. Total is going to be $235 bucks before shipping :eek::eek:

Edit: Did a lil research and seems like this brand is good. check their website out and they were in some articles. LINK I think I will be buying their products!

I will need 4 cambers for the front wheels and 2 for the rear wheels, correct?

Apparently the Ingalls are cheaper because in their picture it shows 4 cambers for 86140 and 2 cambers for 86180.
