Can someone link me (Coils and shakles)

I dont know what the heck shakles are to begin with, i have never messed with lifting. I want to get 2" of lift in front and 2.5" in back..whats the easiest way to do this? Im not crazy about a body lift, but if you can convince me Ill listen. my goal is to get some 32x11.50 on 15x8 on my ride. Thanks for any help

Try using the search function on this fourm. The lift you desire can be accomplished with a lift kit ($$$) or spacers on the front springs and spring shackels on the rear ($).

you could get the skyjacker lift, it would come with everything you need except shocks. If you don't want to spend that much money and get ALMOST the same amount of lift here's what you do. Goto a ford dealership and order a set of F-150 lower sping seats for a 1994ish 2wd (refered here as spacers). Then goto a 4x4 shop and ask for a set of WAR153 lift shackles, or you could also get an add-a-leaf.
To install the f-150 spring seats all you do is the spring seat on your explorer with with the new spring seats. There is ALOT of info here on this type of lift so if you have questions it's probably been asked before but don't be afraid to ask. You will probably also want to get shocks for this lift and alignment will be a slight issue, the alignment shop will have to replace the camber nut, but it's not a big deal. No matter what lift you do you will need an alignment. I did mine all for under $200.00 and now that I look back I could have shaved off alittle.

Hope that helps
