How to make a roll pan for a 2001 xlt

hey i seen a few people with roll pans on there explorers can any one tell me witch roll pan to start with. i know i have to modify it but i would like to know where to start

i think i've seen people use a f150 rollpan for first and 2nd gens, don't know about 3rds. i saw in one of my friends lowrider magazine they had a rollpan kit that was like $300 it had the sides and pan itself. I don't know what gen that was for.
