How to polish Black plastic?

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to get all the black plastic peices nice and shiny?

I'm talking about the roof rack, running boards, etc. I've tried Armor All, but it only makes it look wet. I doesn't richen the black. The peices almost look dark grey, not black. Almost like they are drying out.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Mothers back to black or Meguiars Natural shine works better than Armorall, but really once its faded i dont think theres much you can do. These two things will last a while and CLAIM that they can restore it somewhat with regular use

Turtle Wax Tire Wax also works better than armor-all because it is a gel. I use it on my trim and rub it in then wipe off the excess. My trim isn't faded yet though. I'm not sure if it would work on faded trim for more than a couple of days.

In the current magazine from Performance Products, there is a product in the car wash/detailing section that claims to "restore" black plastic trim to the original color. I've have never tried it, but it looks like it might work. If anyone remembers the name of it, please help, i can't remember. or just try Performance Products ..... Good Luck

Zaino Z16 and 303 Aerospace are my current favorite products to use on black trim. I find that Z16 is good to use on the textured pieces (i.e. the rear bumper cover, running boards), while the 303 is better suited for the smooth black pieces (mirrors, B-pillars, D-pillars).
