How to read my Explorer VIN.....Tranny??

I am in search of determining what automatic transmission is in my 02 Ford Explorer XLT....

Can I interpret what auto trans I have by my VIN?

I am trying to determine if I need to perform a transmission flush and fluid change. I have talked to two separate Ford dealers an 1 said that I dont need to change the tranny fluid since it's a "closed" tranny and the other said "Yes" you definitely need to change it.

I have researched in my Owner's Manual and the manual says I need to change the fluid if I have one of the following trannys:

AX4S
4F5ON
4R100
4F27E

Can someone please help me and let me know if I need to change the fluid....

if its 4.0 v6 i'm pretty sure you have the 5r55w5

you can find the tranny code in the side of the drivers door.
