how to recline drivers power drivers seat????

I just swaped seats from cloth to eddie bauer power seats the passenger seat has a hand pull but the drivers dosent can any one tell me how to recline the drivers seat back

My 97 Eddie Bauer has the leather power seat which goes up, down, and forward and back as well as the handle to recline. Can you tell if the handle has fallen out or is missing? That would be my guess.

I just replaced my drivers side seat hinge. The recline handle broke off, second time (someone booger welded it back on first time).

Do a search on here. seat handle. There is a complete write up on it. Pull the plastic cover off the side of the seat to see if its broken. My bet it is broken.


Here you go I searched and found it. Seat recline handle Says for a 95 but mines a 93 and I used a 92's hinge. Only problem I had was the 92's was a manual seat with flip and slide. I cut off the slide arm and installed it. Works great.

Yep, the driver's seat should have a lever too. It has just broken off. (just like mine)

The new assembly cost my friend about $70 from the dealer. Take maybe 30-60 min. to do. Hardest part was getting those small screws behind the plastic panel.
