Hey folks.

I searched around the archives for an answer to this question but didn't turn up much.

I've got a '94 XLT 4x4 with a leaking fuel return line. Unfortunately, that part doesn't get made any more. A friend who knows the local junkyards is asking around to see if we can salvage an old line, but I'd like to use a new part if possible. So, two questions:

(1) Is there any on-line source for this part that I could go to?

(2) How easy is it to get this sort of thing fabricated? If that's do-able, where can I get the specs to give to the fabricator?

Thanks.

Just buy the rubber line thats made for fuel. It's called Fuel Inection Hose, and it's not cheap(Roughly $5-$6 per foor here in Canada, so I'm assuming a little less in the states.) However it will be your cheapest option, and easiest to install.

The other option is to get some flexible tubing around the 1/4" or 3/8" inside diameter, and bend yourself a new return line. I did it for a buddy's mustang last summer when he had an unfortunate accident with a parking curb.
