Anyone have quick tips on what needs to be removed to replace my washer reservoir? Can I access it just by removing the wheel well lining or does the bumper have to come off? I searched to no avail, any tips would be great.

According to the repair service CD:
1. Remove air cleaner assembly
2. Remove RH front fender splash shield (since reservoir is behind splash shield)
3. Remove top and side bolts.
4. Disconnect 2 electrical connectors for the pumps
5. Remove bolt and reservoir

Let us know how it goes and take pictures if you can.

will do, thanks for the Reply.

thanks XLT03,

I need to change/fix my tank because it has a small leak. Do you have any photos of where exactly the bolts are on the tank?I removed the splash cover and I only see one screw. Any photos/links that you can provide would be of great assistance.

Thanks

How did you get the lower air box out? I'm yanking on it, but I'm afraid I'll break something.

There are four grommet style attachments for the lower air box.

The two grommet attachments on the fender are visible and easy to deal with.

There are also two grommet attachments under the lower air box. The trick is to use a flat blade screwdriver for leverage to pry between the underside of the lower air box and the attachment piece. Then all the grommet attachments will be free.

If you do not pry UNDER the bottom of the air box with a screwdriver, the attachment will have too much play and will not come free.

Good luck.
