How to tell if I have rain sensing wipers

We just bought a 2014 Limited for my wife. So far we like it a lot. We we're told by the Ford dealer that it has automatic wipers, when it senses rain the wipers come on. I can not find anywhere on the wiper column that is has automatic wipers. Starting to wonder if the salesman told us wrong. Did a search on line with pictures of what the column would look like if it has automatic wipers, doesn't look like the one we have. So before I go talk to the salesman, can someone confirm if I have automatic wipers please. What should I look for? Thanks in advance.

Check out page 99 of the 2014 Owner's Manual, 3rd printing. The sensor is in the mirror base attached to the windshield.

Check the index for Rain Sensing Wipers. Usually the info is around the same place in the Manuals regardless of the edition. You can also download or read the latest edition from the Internet.

Do your wipers come on at every setting interval? If so, then you don't have them. If not, just pick a setting and spray water on the windshield in the area where the rearview mirror is mounted.

The wiper switch (stalk) will have the word "AUTO" written on it (example). Also there will be a cover for the rain sensor like this on the windshield next to the rear view mirror.

Edit: There should also be a setting in the instrument cluster left screen menu to enable/disable it.
