How would one improve tranny through a rebuild?

Hi there, i know i've seen threads on this, but i couldn't seem to find one.

I have the SOHC, so i'm pretty much limited as to what i can do with the engine, and i've done most of what i think is worthy, short of a chip, however i don't want to fun premium.

The logically (at least to me) is the tranny, i know we've got to be loosing power there, what can be done to imporve it's efficiency? new Torque Converter and a shift kit? Anything else?

forget the tranny.

There are things you can do yes, but before you get into that there is more you can do to your SOHC and you also need to consider getting gears.......

you want off the line pull, try installiung some 4.10 gears.......
