how would this sound?

i've got an old sony x-plode 10" sub in a truck box. i've also got an older radio shack 300 watt amp. i had it hooked up in my standard cab ranger, but being that the truck is down right now, i thought about putting it in the explorer for now. would it even b worth it? or is the cabin just too damn big for that itty bitty settup?

it'll give you bottom for now and you will have the wires to put a bigger system in later.
the stock sub in an x with premium sound is a single 8in and i doubt it has any more than 300 watts so you ought to be good for a little bottom

if its going ot be a temp set up that will lead to something permanent in the near future in your x i would head over to circuit city. they have EVERYTHING on clearance i picked up a bass slammer pre fab box built for MTX subs for $15 normally sold for $90-$120 i believe. (its for my brothers x-terra) not the best but for 15 you cant beat that they have amps for 100 and subs for a little less its a thought
