EH ! How's it goin up there you lucky bas... If I ever won the lottery, that's where I'd buy for sure. How's the job situation up there? I'm down here in St. Catherines. Too busy! Toronto is just around the corner (1hr drive.) I've gotta get up to T.B. this summer for a vacation. Wife's never been there. I'd like to show her the Terri Fox monument. I haven't been there since I was a kid! Maybe I'll look you up to show me some trails. There's got to be alot up there. (of course some good fishin holes too)Ah shoot I went and said the fi... word, now I'm jonesin. It kinda sucks around here. Any way, welcome to the site. It is awsome. Good bunch of people and tons and tons of info. Hint; if you need any tech info ever, hopefully you don't, but if you do, try Jeff Singleton's site under list of usefull threads.

thanks guys. my gf is from pickering so i'll be down that way this summer so if you do come up here for sure i'll show ya around if i can get time i'll take ya fishing i know some awesome spots real close to town jobs situation up here sucks. luckily i was kinda born into my proffesion so as long as the business still runs i'll have a job how is it down there?

Welcome XLT, have fun..I see you are a fellow 95 owner..cool!!

Right on. On a clear day, with a good set of binoculars, I can see Pickering from the beech or the top of the escarpment. There is some good fishing around there too. I saw some dude on TV one day catchin everything under the sun by the power plant. Rainbow, football size small mouth, pike, walley. It was about this time of year. I guess the warm water from the power plant attracts them in the winter to feed. Sure as hell wouldn't want to eat them though. Thats a pretty cool town too. I go through there when i go fishin in Napenee. Awsome walley fishin. We'll have to try and hook up in the summer. I think my e-mail address posted? Oh yah there are some jobs around, but I'd rather be living and working up there if i had a choice. Keep in touch.

There is a lot of us good Canadians on here

Greetings from the Great brown-cloud! Well , not so much anymore, The air here in colorado seems to have improved in the past few years. By the way, who's Terri Fox? Anyway, welcome to the site and happy fishing. Wish I was at a nice lake instead of stuck 30 floors in the air.

On April 12th,1980 Terry Fox started a run in Newfoundland(east coast), with only one leg, lost to cancer. His goal was to make it all the way across Canada to raise money for cancer, but his efforts were cut short in Thunder Bay Ont. because the cancer spread to his lungs. The run and other drives raised more than $23000000. He was inducted into the sports hall of fame in '81. All across the country, every year, we still have a run in honor of him that continues to raise alot of money. He ran 5480 kilometers approx. 3500 miles, in total on one freakin leg! He died June 28th, 1981 at the age of 23. We have a monument along the scenic Trans Canada hiway in Thunder Bay.

Welcome to the site:D

Thats cool Falls. There are so many people out there that are truly an inspiration and that really try to do good for themselves and others and you never hear about them. When was the last time one of those bubble-headded newspeople led the evening news with "In todays top story, the cutest baby was born at St. Anthonys hospital today." Its cool that people like that get recognized. Sorry for the rant everybody.

Haha this brings out all the canadians I see ^^ Welcome to the site

Welcome from over here.

Spent a year running an ice-breaker up the St Lawrence - Belle Ilse to Montreal - always wanted to go to Thunder bay - lucky guy.

Got my love of trucks from time spent in Quebec City.
