I recently inherited my pops 07 Sport Trac 4x.
It's the 4.6 3v model.
I'm 58. Mostly retired. And planning to keep it.
It has 200k on it and has the usual quirks, such as the driver door adjar light and the 4x won't engage.
But I'll work through those.
My plan is to beef up the 4x-ability a little, rebuild/replace the drivetrain for a more reliable transmission and possibly rear end (I don't know my options yet. I'd love an f250 load/pull capacity.)
Also, I'll be taking off the bed and building a super light fiberglass cab over camper on a flatbed, here in my shop. (I'm a fabricator)
I'm really looking forward to seeing all your builds. ..then stealin' 'em.
