Howto Bridge 2 Subs???

i have a 2channel 600w kenwood amp..... its bridgable to 1 channel.... but i want to push 2 12's.... can i take the positive from the amp and run it to BOTH positives on the subs..... and do the same w/ the negative amp terminal???? im guessin it would work.... but would it cause the amp to burn out or anything??? plz help

i could describe it now, but just in case, do u have the manual? cause theres pictures in it that tell you how to bridge it in there.

but here goes anyways.
the input has four terminals.
positive--------------one wire here
negative
positive
negative-------------one wire here

then on the output, do the same.

i understand that... but i want that one bridged channel to push TWO woofers.......???

ooo....ok well, what kind of subs? 4 ohm, 8 ohm, 12 ohm? svc, dvc?

probably svc 4 ohm , caus ethats the norm. just run in parallel. just hook up both positive terminals on the subs to the same positive terminal on the amp, and the same with the negative to the negative terminal on the amp.

if its different, just tell me and ill give tyou another option.

make sure your amp is stable to 2 ohms mono before you do that or you will fry your amp!!!

if it is only stable to 4 ohms mono, then you have to wire the subs in series to make an 8 ohm load.

here's how to wire in series:

+ on amp to + on sub#1
- on sub#1 to + on sub#2
- on sub#2 to - on amp

it should my buddy had that same amp hooked up at 2 ohms mono for like 5 months and nuttin bad happened.
