If you're planning on keeping the JBL amps, sub and speakers, you need to get the Ford/JBL adapter from Peripheral. This lets you interface your new head unit with the JBL system. Any Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. should have it.

would a Scosche FAI-3 OEM Interface Adapter work. I says:
Now you can replace your factory receiver with a high quality aftermarket unit. The Scosche FAI-3 is for use with factory Premium Sound, JBL, Mach Audio, and Bose systems. Can also be used as a universal speaker-to-line level convertor, such as when adding a subwoofer to factory systems. Features adjustable output levels for precise system matching. Use in conjunction with a vehicle-specific Scosche car stereo wiring harness (available seperately) for easy factory integration. Note: maximum input 55 watts per channel.
Applications:

Aftermarket Receiver to Factory Amplified System (Premium, JBL, Mach, Bose)
Factory Receiver to Aftermarket Amplified Subwoofer
Factory Receiver to Aftermarket Amplifier

Sounds like the Scosche would work if it specifically says it will work with the JBL system. What's nice about the Peripheral is that it integrates the convertor and the wiring harness into one unit. Sounds like with the Scosche, you have to buy the convertor and wiring harness seperately. I used the Peripheral before I redid the whole system and was very happy with it. It also seems like the Scosche is a more generic unit, while the Peripheral is vehicle and system specific. I'd say just go for the Peripheral.

peace

Mike
