Stock HU question

Are aftermarket HUs much better than the stock. I have a cd/cassette non-mach w/ no sub and am considering an Alpine HU.

That depends on what you want out of your head unit . As far as more options , sound control and flexibility , No doubt about it they are better . I dont think you'll be disappointed with alpine . Stay away from the cheap walmart brands and the low end sony . Their junk . Just remember 99% of the time you get what you pay for .

Just put a Alpine cdm-9823 in the X. Big difference w/ stock speakers. More bass and clarity.
