I haven't yet got an X I'm looking to buy one. Atm i have a 1978 fj40 with a v8 but new rules where i live means i cant drive v8's on my P'plates. I have been looking at this 1997 X but it seems too cheap 2 be true.

People have told me not to buy one cus they are a piece of **** but i have never been in one just seen them and i want one for their looks.

Q1: is that car worth buying?
Q2: If i can afford 22" mags will they fit
Q3: how hard is an full air ride system and are they hard to install?
Q4: has anyone installed lambo doors if so are they hard to install?

Thanks guys

People have told me not to buy one cus they are a piece of s**t but i have never been in one just seen them and i want one for their looks.

People who say they are peices of s**t are the same people that said it was Ford's fault that people didnt pay attention to their tire pressure.

I LOVE these trucks, and I will never get rid of mine. EVER.

Q1: is that car worth buying?

Hard to say without driving it. Price seems alittle high. My Mountaineer with AWD and a 5.0LV8 in stock emaculate condition would only bring 1200.00 at the highest T I value... but where you are at it may be different (import/export).

It hurt to have to sell it in the first place, and that was insult to injury. I decided to build it instead :D :D :D :D :D

Q2: If i can afford 22" mags will they fit

For the love of GOD W H Y ? ! :D

Dedpends on the tires you run, backspacing, and brand of the wheel, Ive seen Ex's with 24's, but I dont know how they made it around any turns they turned... :thumbdwn:

3 & 4 Ill leave to someone else :D

Hope this helps

Daniel

22's fit easily and I make every turn. It barely rubs against the lower control arm. There is no air ride system readily available and the front end will require some major modifications for air bags. Also with the lambo doors there is no bolt on kits but here is a thread with a guy who is currently putting lambo doors on his truck.
