when i was changeing my plugs on my 4.0 ohv i was moveing what i thought was some wires around so i could access the plug better. as i was moveing them i herd something snap, i looked and there was this white plastic tube probaly 1/8" in size. it comes from the left rear side of the top of the engine where the air for the pistons goes in. it is paired up with a green one just like it that goes to a saucer shaped thing near the front left spark plug. and the white oes continues twards the brake system. so im kind of worried. i dont know what this is. and can i safely drive 200 miles with this broken, i have to leave today for a trip

From your description it sounds like a vacuum line. I'd get some rubber tubing and slip it over the break and that should fix it at least temporarily.

Note, this is my best guess from your description including the FPR, brakes, and intake manifold.

The green one is the vacuum line for your EGR valve (the saucer shaped thing). I forget what the white one is for.

It was a vacuum line and Alec's recomendation is the best solution for repairing it.

i fixed it. i went to autozone and the guy gave me about a foot of tubeing for free

it was probably a blessing in disguise that u broke that tubing then..least u broke it now instead of it crumbaling further and breaking down when u are picking up 3 of the finest wemon in the world =) lol

good to hear u got it working
