The first pic is both my Explorers and the second is starting to open the driveway up. Just a minor little snowstorm, lol.

how do you know!? it doesnt look like you tried! :P

that looks like lots of snow though i wish we were getting that!

There wasn't a prayer either one would have moved over a foot, lol. All that snow against the house was from behind and beside one of them. It took over an hour to clean around them and I had cleared the driveway the afternoon before. The 35 mph wind packed things in really tight. I could have put one in the garage but it wouldn't have been fair to the other one, lol. The garage is only 16 by 28 and with everything I have in there it's a tight fit getting one in though.

i hear ya.. i have a 3 stall garage and can only fit one car in there and my gf gets that with a car she is leasing.. that is messed up!! looks like lots of shoveling and snowblowing for you to get your cars out of that mess

Looks familiar... :-)

Ah, yes. This is why 2WD SUVs are few and far between in the snow belt.

Think you need some more incline to make it truly fun. Nothing like wheeling your own driveway and neighborhood!

(Dropped 16 inches plus drifting over the past week on us before heading your way)

oh man, i'm so glad i don't live in the northeast anymore. i got transferred to North Georgia in 1993. of course that was the year of "The Great Blizzard of '93" which pretty much shut down Atlanta for 3 days, but i had no trouble getting around in my 4X4. i was one of about 5 people (out of 250) that made it to work (all of us Yankees). we've only had one other semi-significant snowfall is the 20 years i've lived here since. i'm beginning to see why the old folks head to Florida, because we had a couple of single digit nights this past week and it sucked.

koda your missing out on all the snowy fun!!!

i live where it is common to have storms about a foot at a time. city is built on a hill.. streets either run straight up the hill or straight parallel with it.. almost all streets going up are about at least a 15 percent grade with many reaching mid 20s... steepest hill is almost 30 the average beginner ski hill is from 6 percent to about 30 so we compete with those

i drive up and down those everyday.. personally and for delivering stuff for work! thank god i got my AWD!

I've had it with it, lol. It took me eight hours to clear the driveway and shovel the house and garage roof. I'm fifty now and I'm getting to old for this abuse. I did have fun last night though. I came across a Chevy truck that buried his plow to deep and couldn't get out. He laughed when I told him I'd pull him out. After I pulled him out he told me he'd be looking for one of these, lmao...
