hi everyone, i'm new here , and I'm have a 2003 explorer EB, my center console Auxiliary power point fuse is burned. i am trying to fix it myself. i look at the owners guide,but i can not locate the fuse. can anyone tell me where i can find the fuse location in the the fuse box? please , i very appreciate your help.

i made it out ,but anyway i found ,and ford don't even know it too,but i found it, it's in powerfuse box under the hood #9 ,the manual says not use that one,,even ford offical anser is #24 - cigar lighter ,that's how they make money from ur pack:thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn:

Where is power point fuse?
bobrock168 is correct!!! I looked at my 2002 Mercury Mountaineer owner's manual. All the fuse layout (inside passenger compartment lower left of steering column) shows is cigar lighter fuse 24, 15A. I removed that fuse and it looks great so I put the same fuse back in. I figured Auxiliary power point 1 and 2 were tied together; 1 (front center console) was not functioning and 2 (back side of center console) was working fine. I tried every way I could think to troubleshoot this problem. Then I read what bobrock168 had to say - I looked again at the owner's manual and saw the fuse locations for the high amperage fuse box in the engine compartment; sure enough I saw fuse 9 (Power point 1) which is in the front center console and fuse 7 (Power point 2) which is on the back side of center console. DON'T FORGET to disconnect hot side of battery before changing high amp fuses!!!! Anyway, I replaced fuse 9 (20Amp) in the engine compartment and my Auxiliary power point is working fine. You Rock bobrock168!!!! I'll be ready if this happens again. Who would have though that and aux. 12V power source would be considered high current? I guess maybe running a DVD player might draw high current. The owner's manual is confusing, no doubt.

Hay Im happy my DISC can halp U ,and i also hope "ford" can see it,otherwise they will loss thire "Gooooooooooood" costomer.

Just to add a note on an old thread. Looking at #7 & #9 fuses it may look OK but it's not. Get a new one and substitute it one at a time. I shook the old one and it rattles if that helps. My first time on this type of fuse.

funny, im having the same issue with the front point not working while the back one does. fuse #9 was burned out, but i got nothing when i replaced it. #7 is doing fine, and i have no blown fuses under my dash. any suggestions now?

Swap your #7 & #9 and see what happens. Did you also check #24 under dash? Those are the only fuses for the power ports. Maybe your power port is bad? Check if wire is hot, if yes then bad port.
