I goofed, trans. stuck in gear.

I was messing with my Hurst shifter (manual trans.) and I forgot to put the trans. in neutral before I took it out. So now the truck is stuck in gear and I can't get it out. Is there some way I can get it in neutral?

I managed to get it. I used the stock shifter which of course doesn't have springs to push it around and managed to get it in the right spot and pulled the trans. back in neutral.

that sucks don't it? I accidently did that when I replaced my shifter when the bushings were shot took the old one out put a new one in and realized i was in reverse when i started lettin the clutch out cuz i thought i was in neutral lol, good to hear ya got it
