Hello, I am in South Florida I have a 2007 Honda Ridgeline and I am getting a 96 EB X from my boss. It has the 2nd gear slips syndrome but, its free and other than that in excellent condition. I have been lurking around here for about a month ever since I found out I was getting it and i will post more when I pick it up tomorrow. I am happy to see so many members and I hoe i can contribute the boards in the near future.....

welcome ridgeline do u got any mods on ur ridgeline.

i saw a modified ridgeline 2 weeks ago it was maroon colored and it had like 18s on it and it was lowered and it had dual exhaust on it. And it also had tinted windows and hids on it too.

No modes as of yet.... I have some HIDs but I want to get the Explorer fixed first before I mod out the Ridge...... Keep the newer car nicer for now you know.

A set of Volks wheels for your Ridgeline would look PIMP! :)

Welcome to Explorer Forum! Do a search for "shift flair".

Hey guys thanks for the welcome. I just got it home yesterday and I now have a little more info to go on..... I have been reading a lot and I think I either need a new tranny or a rebuild anyway, based on behavior however I am going to take it Monday to see if there are any codes in memory..... and go from there. I am guessing that if the O/D light is flashing after driving for a little ways I can still get a code even with no check engine light?

Well that was fun. I went had the codes pulled like I mentioned. I found a shift solenoid code I ordered one and dropped the pan to install and found have of a band laying in the bottom of the pan......
I then bought a transmission that supposedly had been rebuilt. I went to install it to find out it was a 5r55e not a 4r55e so needless to say I was a little upset and the guy refused a refund. I tried to install it anyway to find out the pump was bad.
I took the original to a local shop and had them rebuild it on the bench and then I reinstalled saved me about $500.00 doing it that way and they still gave me the same warranty. so without further mention here is a picture of my free Explorer with a new transmission in it.
